i was exhausted to the max today. it was a mixture of being at work, driving in traffic, and making it home to watch my boys. i bought them these cute star war boxers for them to wear and after their bath tonight, they said they're going to be shirtless just like their papa (with their boxers on, of course). all three normally fights to lay next to me, but tonight, they didn't. can i say uh-mah-zing?
i told them i needed to rest and encouraged them to come spend some time in bed with me before they got their shut eyes. i didn't have the energy to play lego or read them a book tonight. i know it was so sad, but i was aching from yesterday. at least, i know i only have a month left before baby #4 pops. this baby is getting SOOOOO ridiculously heavy.
in the end, i didn't see a problem about spending time in bed together. we were still sharing laughters and relaxing. i turned on yo gabba gabba for them to watch. i loved it for many reasons. it was simple and i did integrate our time together. i gave them my full attention which they need. i think this helps with their crying and throwing tantrums because they don't need to be heard. i'm giving them what they need and that is love.
love my boys. xoxo.
