Happy Birthday, Batman!

Dear Batman.

I've been busy these past few days and finally found time to write you your birthday letter. In my eyes, it's never too late. I just have to say that you're still the same. You love to say "remember mom" "remember how such and such". Well, son, remember this sign? I bought this sign last year for you. It says to "follow you dreams". I know your dream right now is probably to be batman, but that's OK. i want you to continue to follow your dreams until you find what you're passionate about one day. DREAM BIG.

i want you to know that i'm doing my best to raise you up. i want you to be a good person and hopefully one day, you'll tell me this:

because ....

as you continue to take these walks in life ...

don't ever forget to laugh and dream....

especially to dream ...............

because ...... (maybe not the drink wine part yet)

please know that ....

i know "A" is for "Aiden", but "A" is also for awesome. you are awesome in my eyes! i will never forget how awesome you were when you made me cry. it was in a good way and it happened about a month ago. i took you to the mall and noticed you fell asleep in the back. i tapped you on your leg to tell you we're at the apple store and asked why you didn't nap at school earlier. you responded "mom, i didn't nap at school today. i didn't want to. i worked hard so i can show u my work". i remembered grabbing onto you. i whispered i love you in your ears. thanks for making me proud - proud that i've raised you into a good person and thank you for thinking of me.

4 years ago today, i welcomed you into my life with open arms. i was scared of everything from being a mom to being hospitalized! today son, i would suffer in as much pain just to have you in my life. i would do anything and everything for you. you have made me so proud.

now, it's time for you to continue to chase your dream and have fun being a kid.

even if your dream is to be a mini-adam west. i love you and happy birthday. xoxo.

Evan Tyler Dang | 2 months

i can't believe baby batman is 2 months old. he gained a whopping 6 lbs since birth and now weighs 14 lbs, which puts him in the 95th percentile. how did i ever score such a chunky monkey? beats me, but he's such a cutie pie! i love that he sleeps 10 to 12 hours straight through the night in his bedroom. i love that he smiles at me every morning when he wakes up. i love that he laughs out loud when i make funny sounds or have small baby talks with him. i love that he loves to eat constantly. i love that he's an easy going baby and falls asleep on his own. i love that he lets me take him around (well, he doesn't have a choice) without crying. i love that he's my son, a gift i couldn't bear to live without.

i love you baby batman.
