My Oven is Baking Again.

dilly

I couldn't believe it either, but it's right. I'm pregnant with baby #3. I didn't know that one night of genital fun would cause me to get knocked up. My plan was to get pregnant this summer after our family vacation. It's OK! A few months earlier would not hurt me. My husband refers to his boys as "olympian" swimmers trained by Michael Phelps. I guess they are! It all started when my mood changed and my husband said to me, "I know you are PREGNANT". I said, "whatever" and even gave him the eye roll (as a joke). When he purchased the pregnancy test, I was certain, I wasn't. As soon as I saw the two lines on the stick, I grabbed another one, in hopes that the second one would come out negative. I failed. He was right. He's actually always right. I cried on the toilet seat all by myself. I couldn't believe it. When I told him, he slapped both his hands on his chest feeling extremely macho! He smiled. I was going to shit in my pants. Maybe, I should have.

"Why are you always right!"
"Because, I am."
"I hate you."

I broke the news to Aiden right away. His response was:

"oh mommy, baby in stomach. I want to see. I want to see."
"you can't see baby until baby grows bigger."
"oh."

Dilly doesn't know and is too young to even understand. However, I've told him numerous times there's a baby in my stomach and he's going to be a BIG BROTHER. I can't wait to meet our baby in 7 months. I'm rooting for a girl, but really I should be happy and pray for a healthy child. It's going to be a journey and I can't wait to see what life would be like with 3 kids under 4 in our household. Love my 3 kids and husband. XOXO.

"love". it's describes our family and is the banner i used for papa dang's valentine's dessert table. what an investment! it was used again today. i'm glad i saw it while walking out to the car.

Disney's Aladdin (California Adventure) | Anaheim, CA

mama+boys

This is the best part of being a Disney Annual Passholder (we've been for years). You can go whenever you feel like it. It's also a good thing we're annual passholder because I still need to discover so many attractions and I can never last an entire day at Disneyland.

Today, we decided to hit California Adventure to see the musical version of Aladdin. We barely made it to the show and had pretty awesome orchestra seats. We were lucky. Aiden was ecstatic when he saw Aladdin. Yes, he was one of those kids, who screamed out, "Mommy, I see Aladdin. Mommy, look!".

The show runs about 40-minutes long. The music and effects are spectacular. It's broadway caliber and I don't think I could ever get sick of watching this show because the Genie is just straight up hilarious! He made jokes about Lindsey Lohan and Edward from Twilight. I didn't expect to laugh so hard at the show. Of course, younger kids would not get it, but he was very up-to-date with the entertainment industry. I give him props! He was such a super star and rocked it!

Overall, the musical made me realize how much I love Disney. It's a must see! We'll definitely be back. You should check out the show, but remember to check CA Adventure schedules. Performances are not held daily.

We spent the remaining of the night at Disneyland. Our family could never get enough of Disney. We are here weekly with our boys. except I don't blog about it weekly. I think that's a little too much. Haha. Love my boys, XOXO.

U-Pick Strawberry (Tanaka Farm) | Irvine, CA

we've been to tanaka farms before, but today was our first time going on their strawberry excursion to pick our very own strawberries. for $15 per person (2 and under are free), it was worth the money! the strawberries are the best i've tasted, probably since they're nicely absorb by the sun and was fresh when it was picked. you don't have to take the tour and can purchase fresh strawberries at the stands.

our boys had an amazing time on the ride into the farm. aiden waved hello to all the little kids he saw on the wagon. we rode the wagon around the farm and got to sample different organic produce before making our last stop at the strawberry patch. we were able to sample organic carrots, which dilly loved, celery, onions, and snap peas. there are something about organic food that makes it taste so delicious.

tanka farm is definitely a family-friendly place for kids of all ages and i'm highly recommending it to you! i learned a few facts about how vegetables and fruits are grown throughout the year, which was very interesting. i could never be a farmer. well, never say never!

anyways, we walked away with some yummy fresh picked strawberries in the end. dylan had a box full of half eaten strawberries. yes, he only ate the tip of each strawberry and toss it afterwards. it was great to take part on this adventure (oh yeah, we were the only asian family on the wagon). we loved picking the strawberries with our boys. i can't stop raving about this place. you really need to go if you haven't been here! we heart tanaka farms.

dilly pushed his fingers into the strawberry. haha.
papa+dilly

dilly was notorious for picking the strawberries and only taking a bite off  the tip, and then throwing it.

our little strawberry pickers in-training. aiden is a perfectionist. he wanted his strawberries to be fully ripped. if he pulled the strawberry and it was missing the leaf part, it was a goner. he went back for another one. it had to be in perfect condition (no joke).

Mother's Day

aiden

dilly

It's past my bedtime, but I wanted to write a few words and will continue when time permits about being a mother to two incredible and handsome boys. Well, since it's Mother's Day, I can reflect. It's not about the sacrifices I've made for them, but a certain sense of gratitude that I have towards them for being in my life. They've taught me a new kind of love and the meaning of unconditional love. I couldn't see my life without them. I live and breathe for them. I never allowed my job to wreck my family life because I always found balance and refuse a career advancement to ensure the health of our boys. They need me (and papa dang, too). I've never felt guilt about being a mom and cannot wait to add more to our family. I want to raise our boys happy and healthy while allowing them to be free. "the sky is the limit." .......................
